12 MINUTE WORKOUT

3 x 150m (100 crawl, 50 backstroke)
1 x 50 m breaststroke (actually 30 breast, 20 crawl)

500 m (12:08.84 minutes)

I was feeling really good after the first 450 meters and considered swimming for a full 20 minutes. However I felt something funny on my right side while doing the breast stroke. Since that's still the problematic side of my pelvis (have problems sometimes with outward rotations of the hip joint), I decided to play it safe and just crawled the final 20 meters, and left the pool. Actually remembered to stretch out afterwards in the shower. Now I just need to remember to bring some shampoo and skin moisterizer with me.

Boy it's been a while. The problems with my pelvic joints kept me out of the pool. Today was my first swim after giving birth to the baby and it was great! I'm sure I could have swum much further, but don't want to risk injurying myself. So a nice easy build up is my strategy. I was very surprised that I was able to swim breast stroke without any pelvic pain, so all in all things are looking great!
