TADPOLE WARMUP

200 Crawl
100 Back
125 Breast
-----------
425 M (approx. 10 minutes)
125 M Crawl
-----------
550 M

It was my turn to be in the water with my son for swimming lessons so I only got to do a quick warmup before lessons.
Lessons are not going that well, so it will take a while before my son becomes swmmrboy. All of the showers were taken by tweenage girls when lessons were over, so I swam an extra 125 crawl to stay warm until there was a shower.

SUNSET SWIM

4X400: (200 Crawl, 100 Breast, 100 Back)
25: Breast
-------------------
1650 M (approx. 40 minutes)

They've installed a new clock at the swimming pool with a really large second hand. I got so excited about this I got all flustered when using the stopwatch on my Baby-G. After the first 400 M, I realized that I hadn't started my watch properly, and started timing again. Once again I messed the timing up. So the swim time is based upon entering the water at 17:50 and exiting around 18:30.

The sun was setting as I started my swim. A beautiful pink sky which gradually turned black.

Good swim.

SWIM HARD, SWIM FAST, SWIM DEEP

400: Warm-up
4x75: Rolling Medley
100: Back
100: Crawl
100: Breast
--------------
1000 M (24:15.91)

Good fast swim. It started out well, and continued to go well when 2 triathaletes joined my lane. It is so much easier to swim fast when you've got another fast swimmer in your lane. It is so embarassing to be passed. It makes you feel like you're in the way. Luckily nobody passed me tonight.

Afterwords playing around in the water with my son and husband, and a nice long sauna.
