Værløse Swimming Pool opened 2 weeks ago. It is such a fantastic pool, I love it.
There are pictures of it available in this PDF file (524 KB)

The 25 M pool is eight lanes wide, three of which are roped off for swimming lanes, and the other 5 are left open as a multifunctional space (diving, climbing, playing water polo, etc.)

When I arrived all three lanes were occupied by senior citizens swimming breast stroke very slowly and majestically with their heads out of the water.
They made me think of sea turtles. I swam in the large open space for the first 1000 M of my program and moved into the racing lanes once they had left.

I laughed to myself when I heard that they were playing "An Englishman in New York" over the speakers.
I thought it was a funny coincidence that I had thought of sea turtles, and then to hear songs from the album, "Dream of the Blue Turtles"
However when I checked up on it, it turns out that that song is on the "Nothing like the Sun" album.
