END OF SEASON
Tonight's swim ended this year's season at Farum Swim Club.
25 M Pool
Program:
400: Warm-up
1 hour of silliness
Mega-kickboards were brought out. We tried to stand on them. Tried standing on our heads on them, etc. A major workout, and tough on the wrists as well.
Then the "rolling pins" were played with. We don't really know what they are used for - we're guessing for water aerobics, but also functioned very nicely as behind the neck supports for back-floating.
Then "catch" over the 5 M turn flags with a water polo ball in the deep end. Treading water that long is quite a work out.
I'm trying to recruit a new member from my club to Swmmrgrrl, hope she joins.
